My primary study organisms are the Illinois Chorus Frog and Strecker’s Chorus Frog.  My research interests, however, include the use of genetics techniques, primarily gel electrophoresis of genomic DNA fragments, to determine the degree of relatedness in and among populations and the overall health of the population.  I am also interested in monitoring anthropogenic effects on amphibian populations.
