Arkansas Adventure

In this inter-disciplinary unit, students use the Arkansas Tourism Packet and Arkansas Highway Map to create an Arkansas Adventure that helps them connect the Arkansas Science, Math, Social Studies and English Frameworks to real-world applications.  It can be used as a brief 3-day thematic unit for a single teacher or expanded and used as a more in-depth investigation for all teachers in the entire grade.

This is a fantastic way to wrap up the school year.

Many students get so excited about the project that it often turns into the family adventure for the summer.
